A group of talented young innovators from Liberia recently made the nation proud at the 2025 Pan African Robotics Competition (PARC) held in Dakar, Senegal. Supported by the Liberia Information Technology Students Union (LITSU), the team arrived on July 15, ready to compete and connect with fellow tech minds from across Africa and beyond.
PARC is one of the continent’s most prestigious tech events, bringing together students, developers, and engineers to share cutting-edge ideas and tackle real-world problems through robotics and technology. Representing Liberia, the team joined participants from several African countries and the United States, creating an environment full of innovation, learning, and collaboration.
These young Liberians didn’t just show up, they stood out. With passion, skill, and confidence, they put their knowledge to the test and impressed judges and attendees alike. Their performance was a clear sign that Liberia’s youth are ready to take part in global conversations about technology and problem solving.
Their journey wasn’t just about competition; it was about showing the world what’s possible when young people are empowered with the right tools and opportunities. Through their efforts, they’ve proven that Liberia is home to bright minds capable of shaping the future of technology in Africa and around the world.
We applaud their hard work and achievements, including the well-deserved recognition and awards they brought home. Their success is a reminder that tech is not just a dream, it’s a growing force in Liberia’s development.
Congratulations to our rising tech stars. You’ve raised the flag high and inspired countless others to believe in their potential.
